Position: Insurance AI Specialist
Type: Contract
Compensation: $80–$100/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate AI-generated outputs related to policy language interpretation, risk classification, claims adjudication, and actuarial projections.
  • Create realistic scenarios based on insurance workflows such as underwriting submissions, claims investigations, coverage disputes, rate filings, and regulatory examinations.
  • Annotate, label, and validate data across insurance use cases including loss reserving, fraud detection, and policy coverage analysis.
  • Provide structured feedback on AI accuracy in areas such as insurance regulations, actuarial standards, and industry-specific terminology.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with research teams to refine evaluation frameworks for insurance-domain AI.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 3+ years of professional experience at an insurance carrier, brokerage, reinsurer, or regulatory body.
  • Background in underwriting, claims management, actuarial science, insurance sales, compliance, or risk management.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate insurance workflows into structured evaluation tasks.
  • Clear written communication and attention to detail.

Preferred

  • Professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, FCAS, FSA, AIC.
