BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Material Handler / Warehouse Associate in South San Francisco, CA
Job Title: Material Handler / Warehouse Associate
Location: South San Francisco, CA (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Duration: 6+ Months (Possible Extension)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 hours/week
Job Summary:
We are hiring a reliable Material Handler / Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. This role involves handling incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring accuracy in documentation, and maintaining safety and compliance standards. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and standing for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments
- Prepare shipping documents, labels, and manifests
- Handle material storage, distribution, and inventory tracking
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards (GMP, etc.)
- Perform packaging, labeling, and shipment coordination
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Support team operations and meet daily productivity goals
Requirements:
- Prior warehouse/material handling experience required
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Must be reliable with good attendance
