Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in a K-12 school setting, primarily serving PreK to 4th-grade students with potential responsibilities extending to PreK-8 evaluations and meetings involving middle school students. This contract role is scheduled from mid-January through early June and covers a leave replacement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide therapy to students from PreK to 4th grade
- Participate in meetings and collaborate with school staff regarding PreK-8 students, including middle school evaluations as needed
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with student needs and educational goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administration to support student progress
Desired Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required
- Experience working in school settings from PreK through middle school
- Strong knowledge of speech-language development and disorders in children
- Ability to manage a caseload and work collaboratively with educators and families
