The Veterinary Technician/Assistant will support veterinary professionals in a small animal clinic setting, primarily caring for companion animals such as dogs and cats. This role involves working under the direct supervision of a veterinarian and collaborating with a team of technicians to provide high-quality medical care and support during daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide animal care and assist with medical procedures
• Perform laboratory work and patient monitoring
• Sterilize equipment to maintain infection control standards
• Maintain accurate record keeping and client communication
• Administer medications and assist during surgeries
• Support veterinary staff during routine examinations and treatments

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in veterinary care

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in animal handling and phlebotomy
• Knowledge of anesthesia monitoring, radiology, and medical terminology
• Understanding of infection control procedures
• Strong communication skills and teamwork
