Role Description
We are seeking an Associate Director of Pathology for a full-time, on-site role based in the San Diego Metropolitan Area. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading pathology assessments, collaborating with laboratory teams to ensure accurate analysis, overseeing histologic evaluations, and ensuring the highest standards of laboratory medicine. The individual will also play a critical role in advancing medical research objectives and contributing expertise to projects requiring specialized pathology knowledge in the context of drug development.
Qualifications
- ACVP Board Certification
- DVM + PhD preferred
- Five or more years of experience in a pharma or adjacent environment
- Ideally, experience with novel therapeutics
- A collaborative style, as the position involves interaction with a variety of drug development colleagues
- US Citizenship or Permanent Residency
