Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

Active RN license in good standing
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Stepdown or PCU settings
Proficient in interpreting cardiac rhythms and managing titration of drips
Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (required)
Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing patient conditions and protocols

Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess patients with complex conditions, intervening swiftly in acute changes
Administer medications, manage IV drips, and support post-operative recovery
Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans
Document patient progress and report any significant changes to medical staff promptly
Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and ongoing health management
Maintain a therapeutic environment, adhering to best practices and facility policies
