Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Dock Supervisor to oversee our shipping operations and manage a team of warehouse workers. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient and accurate processing of all freight activities, including inventory management and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of up to 10 warehouse workers.
- Ensure all freight is accurate, inventory is counted, and shipments are stored and shipped correctly and timely.
- Maintain and update shipping and bill of ladings records.
- Generate and analyze shipping reports.
- Coordinate unloading of trucks and manage dock operations.
- Plan and lead daily operations to meet customer service standards.
- Engage with customers and update them on the status of freight orders.
- Train staff to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse supervising.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Strong management and leadership skills.
- Experience with warehouse inventory and dock operations.
- Proficiency in using computers and logistics software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with 3PL environments.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse forklifts and dockstockers.
- Strong customer service skills, especially in handling demanding clients.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carson, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
