Company an independent insurance agency serving the needs of individuals and businesses in Missouri since 1944, is looking for a motivated, disciplined, and driven individual to join their Property & Casualty team.
Company is looking for a licensed P&C, service-oriented professional who is client-focused, enjoys achieving success individually and as part of a team, and is familiar with all aspects of account management. The Account Manager role is a relationship-focused one, best suited for those who are confident in their abilities in point of sale, mid-term policy changes, and renewal management.
Position Summary
The Personal Lines Account Manager (Retail Insurance Agency)
Key Responsibilities
-
Manage an assigned book of personal lines clients including homeowners, auto, umbrella, renters, recreational vehicles, and other personal coverage lines.

Serve as the primary point of contact for policyholders, addressing changes, questions, claims coordination, and billing inquiries.

Prepare and process renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and re-marketing as needed.

Review client exposures and identify coverage gaps or improvement opportunities.
-
Communicate directly with carriers to obtain information, resolve issues, and advocate for clients.

Maintain complete and accurate records in the agency management system (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic).
-
Ensure compliance with agency procedures and applicable insurance regulations.
-
Collaborate with producers, service team members, and agency leadership to ensure a seamless client experience.

Support agency initiatives related to retention, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year experience in personal lines account management within a retail insurance agency

Active Property & Casualty license in applicable state

Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., Epic, AMS360) and Microsoft Office tools

Strong working knowledge of personal lines coverage and carrier appetite
-
Excellent organizational and customer service skills

High School diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with multiple personal lines carriers and comparative rating tools

Professional designations (e.g., CISR, CPIA) are a plus
