Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
Support the warehouse operation by performing a variety of cross-functional tasks to move products and packages throughout the warehouse. The role includes loading and unloading materials, ensuring the safe and efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods within a warehouse facility. This position also involves inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Collaboration with team members is essential to foster a positive work environment and healthy team culture.
Responsibilities
- Move products and packages throughout the warehouse utilizing appropriate equipment.
- Conduct equipment checks prior to the start of the shift and notify management of any issues or safety concerns.
- Load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks and place them in the appropriate location within the warehouse for storage.
- Notify supervision regarding any deficiencies in quality, customer shortages, or damaged products.
- Stage pallets as needed for shipment.
- Select products according to tickets and accurately place them in boxes for shipments, including product labeling and box building.
- Assemble daily shipments by order location and category.
- Ensure orders are packed into appropriate shipping containers for customer delivery.
- Inspect products during packing to ensure there is no damage.
- Perform quality control assessments and stack items safely and securely.
- Build boxes as needed for the shipment of products to customers.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or forklift-related role.
- Proficient in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, high reach, and pallet jacks.
- Experience in a cold storage facility is a plus.
- Forklift Certification (pallet jack or high reach) preferred with the ability to attain one upon hire.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with inventory management and RF scanners.
- Knowledge of shipping procedures and practices.

Work Environment
Work in a cold storage facility where temperatures will consistently be under 40 degrees and can go as low as -2 degrees. Must be open to working shifts: Tuesday to Saturday from 07:00 to 15:30, and Monday to Friday from 16:00 to 00:30.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lockhart, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
