Required Skills:
- Valid and current medical license to practice in Pennsylvania
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist services or inpatient obstetric care
- Exceptional clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital setting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with high-risk pregnancies and deliveries
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual capabilities or additional language skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of OB hospitalist or obstetric inpatient care experience preferred
- Prior locum or temporary physician experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on December 31, 2025
- Must hold or be able to obtain relevant state licensure and certifications
- Willingness to travel or cover shifts as needed; travel and licensure reimbursements may apply
- Must comply with all hospital, state, and federal guidelines regarding healthcare practice
