Building Maintenance Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team onsite at commercial buildings in the Indianapolis area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead maintenance and repairs of mechanical, electrical and life-safety systems including boilers, rooftop HVAC units, VAV systems, building automation, emergency generators and plumbing.
- Conduct preventive and emergency maintenance; complete work orders and upkeep tasks such as pressure washing and leaf blowing.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and service; use PC/smartphone to manage work-order system and email.
- Read blueprints; lift up to 50 lbs; climb ladders; respond on-call approx. every five weeks and travel to buildings within metro area.
- Exhibit strong organization, multitasking, verbal/written communication, and a positive, self-sufficient attitude.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ facilities maintenance experience with complex systems in commercial/medical settings.
- Trade certification or licensure preferred.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience working independently and as part of a team.
