Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, on-site opportunity is available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist specializing in pediatrics at a school in Meridian, ID. This role offers the chance to work directly with children in an educational setting while supporting their communication development and overall academic success. Travel candidates are welcome to apply.
Key responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students. Collaboration with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) is essential. Monitoring progress and maintaining thorough documentation of each students therapy is also part of the role.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid state licensure as an SLP
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
