Job Title: RN – Pediatrics (Morning Shift)
Location: Bronx, NY
Type: Contract
Pay Rate:
Travel Rate: $3,084 per week
Local Rate: $2,449.5 per week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN – Pediatrics for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bronx, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in a hospital setting
- Perform clinical procedures including IV insertion, catheter care, wound care, and dressing changes
- Administer and monitor medications while observing and reporting patient responses
- Monitor telemetry and other clinical equipment as required
- Support pediatric patients and families through education, communication, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems (EPIC preferred)
Qualifications:
Required Experience & Education:
- Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg or Pediatric nursing experience in an acute care hospital
- Recent clinical experience required (within the past 12 months preferred)
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited program
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
Required Licensure & Certifications:
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
- NYSED Primary Source Verification of licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
