Job Details:

• 16 hours guaranteed per week
\n• Full-time schedule with overtime billable after 40 hours per week for 36-40 hour positions, or after 48 hours for 48 hour/week positions
\n• On-call responsibilities include up to 2 overnight shifts per week and 4 weekends per 13-week contract
\n• Weekend call schedule runs from Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 6:30 AM
\n• Required to float across all campuses including Iowa Methodist Medical Center and Iowa Lutheran
\n• Work in 16 operating rooms with average of 35-50 cases per day
\n• Patient ratio of 1:1 with expectation for turnovers less than 20 minutes
\n• Both scrubbing and circulating experience preferred
\n• Work with specialized equipment including 3 DaVinci robots, Stealth technology for neuro navigation, and primarily Synthes or Stryker for ortho trauma
\n• Service lines include cardiac/PV, neuro, ortho (primarily trauma), robotics, gynecology, urology, general, pediatrics, transplants, ENT, and plastic procedures
\n• Scrubs provided by facility
\n• Must have 2+ years of current operating room experience including circulating experience
\n• Strong cardiac, vascular, and thoracic proficiency with general surgery experience required
\n• EPIC electronic medical systems experience within previous 3 years required
\n• Level 1 trauma center experience highly preferred
\n• Must have completed a travel assignment within previous 12 months
\n• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA)
\n• Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required
\n\n
