What your day will look like:
- Set up, review, adjust, and troubleshoot automation and secondary equipment.
- Establish, document, and improve processes to ensure safe, efficient, and repeatable production.
- Maintain equipment performance to support product quality and production goals.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Authorize and implement process or equipment changes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Stop any production run that creates unsafe conditions or produces out-of-spec parts.
- Ensure work instructions, process documentation, and setup sheets are accurate, complete, and accessible.
- Verify technical data, CAD files, and engineering drawings for manufacturability and compliance with specifications.
- Participate in product, tooling, and secondary equipment design reviews to ensure manufacturability.
- Support manufacturing engineers and program managers with day-to-day production needs.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and coordinate re-ordering as needed.
What we are looking for:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with plastic injection molding.
- Hands-on experience with robotics, automation, and secondary equipment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, prints, and schematics.
- Knowledgeable in using CAD software for fixture and process design.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
