We are a family owned, full-service accounting firm located in Elmhurst, IL. We are looking for a Tax Accountant to join our team! This candidate will have 8+ years of accounting tax experience. We have both part-time and full-time opportunities. This is an in-person work position.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare business and individual income tax returns.
- Lead client activities for all phases including: bookkeeping, payroll, tax planning & tax projections, and the preparation of income tax returns.
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience preparing business and personal income tax returns.
- Associate's degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
- Quickbooks software proficiency required.
- ProSeries Tax Software proficiency is a plus.
- Detail and deadline oriented.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
