Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based position is available for a skilled Behavior Specialist with Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credentials, offering an opportunity to support elementary students in Aurora, CO. This contract role spans the current school year, starting as soon as possible and concluding on May 29, 2026. The position involves working within a single elementary school building.

Responsibilities include providing direct behavioral interventions and support to a caseload of 12-15 students in kindergarten through 5th grade. These students are identified with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The role requires collaboration with educational staff to develop and implement individualized behavior plans aimed at improving student outcomes.

Key qualifications and experiences:

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
Proven experience working with students displaying behavioral challenges, particularly those with EBD and ASD
Ability to manage a caseload of elementary school students (K-5th grade)
Strong communication skills for working with educators, families, and support teams
Commitment to fostering positive behavioral changes in a school setting

Working hours total 37.5 per week, aligning with the schools schedule, ensuring consistent support for students throughout the academic year.
