A specialized opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings, located in Hayward, CA. This position serves students in grades K-12, managing a caseload of approximately 45-55 students. The role begins January 5th and extends through the end of the school year, with potential for renewal into the following year.
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in California.
- Prior experience working in school-based occupational therapy preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively across diverse grade levels.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to support K-12 students functional performance and educational goals.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress.
- Collaborate with school staff to integrate therapeutic interventions within the educational environment.
- Manage a caseload of 45-55 students, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
- Maintain compliance with state regulations and school policies.
Position Details:
