Position Summary: To provide maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of residential and commercial heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems according to company/manufacturing standards and local codes.
Required Qualifications:
- HVAC Tech CT license B2, D2 or S2
- EPA cert or NATE Certs
- Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
- EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling License
- Demonstrate willingness to invest in tools used in Service of HVAC equipment
- Demonstrate willingness to invest time in service training seminars and classes
- Safely work from extension ladders, step ladders, scissor and genie lifts
- Knowledge to problem solve HVAC service calls on most major brands of equipment
- Understand and communicate benefits of preventative maintenance and build customer loyalty
- Demonstrate good customer service skills and have ability to communicate clearly idea's and explanations of problems to residential and commercial customers and coworkers
- Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility, control non-productive time, breaks and time off
- Experience in training and mentoring service technicians and apprentices
- Accurately and completely maintain records, including web-based Customer Service Management System (Complete customer files may include job photos, drawings, equipment information, inventory summaries, warranty documentation and other applicable documentation)
