We are seeking skilled concrete finishers to join our team, specializing in commercial slab on grade projects, including floors, paving, parking lots, sidewalks, flatwork, and structural footings and walls. Candidates must have expertise in finishing tools and techniques to deliver high specification jobs with glass-smooth finishes and perfectly level floors.
Responsibilities
- Operate power trowels independently from day one; experience with riding trowels is advantageous.
- Utilize finishing tools such as mag, screed, broom, bull float with proficiency.
- Execute retail, office, and school projects with extreme attention to detail.
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately to guide concrete finishing tasks.
- Maintain a valid driver's license for job site travel.
- Potential to advance to a foreman role based on performance and experience.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a concrete finisher.
- Proficiency in running a power trowel and finishing concrete.
- Ability to operate a skid loader.
- Blueprint reading capabilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in concrete finishing.
- Experience with high specification projects is a plus.

Work Environment
Our team consists of 80-100 non-union concrete crew members working on diverse projects ranging from small, quick jobs to large, year-long endeavors. We operate within a 50-mile radius of DM, with foremen meeting at the office each morning to load materials and travel to job sites. Expect to work Monday through Saturday during busy seasons, with hours ranging from 40-70 per week depending on weather conditions. Employees must wear concrete muck boots, manage cell phone use responsibly, and have access to an iPad for logging reports. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
