This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of a large respiratory therapy team, develop and implement appropriate policies and procedures to ensure exceptional patient care while also ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Prepare, manage, and adhere to departmental budgets and oversee resource allocation and equipment purchasing.
- Act as a liaison between the respiratory department, physicians, nursing staff, and hospital administration.
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate respiratory therapists and support staff.
Key Requirements:
- Current, active, unencumbered Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) licensure from an accredited agency (NBRC)
- Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or Healthcare Administration
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Supervisory or Lead experience in a respiratory therapy setting
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Compensation and Schedule:
- Salary begins at $93,000 per year but can be significantly more based on years of experience
