Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide specialized speech-language support for elementary students in an engaging educational setting located in Skowhegan, ME. This role involves managing an elementary caseload and delivering itinerant services across 2-3 school sites, offering a dynamic and varied work environment. The position is available for the remainder of the current school year, with the potential for renewal into the following academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in elementary-aged students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress.
- Provide itinerant services across multiple school locations, ensuring continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.
Qualifications:
- State certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably within a school setting.
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload effectively across multiple sites.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families.
