NEEDED: Pharmacy Technician
LOCATION: 8730 Scroggs Road, Lisbon, Ohio 44432
SCHEDULE: 30 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Shall possess the necessary skills, abilities, and credentials to perform services of a Pharmacy Technician.
- Must have a medical/technical background obtained through education (or) on the job training in the pharmaceutical field.
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
- Preferred - possess a current, unrestricted, State pharmacy technician license and be certified through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
- Must have computer and typing skills.
- Must have at least one (1) year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
- Must have a current CPR certification.

JOB DUTIES:
- Prepare prescription orders.
- Utilize BEMR to process orders.
- Verify prescription orders.
- Answer pharmaceutical questions as needed.
- Distribute medications at the pill line.
- Working knowledge of Pyxis machines.
- Inventory and stocking of Pharmacy supplies.
- Maintain Pharmacy refrigerator temperature logs.
- Check medications for expiration dates.
- Assist and monitor in the accountability of sharps.
- Assists Pharmacist in the proper disposal of expired and confiscated medication.
- General cleanliness and assist in orderly running of the Pharmacy are.
- Assist Pharmacist with the gathering of information for IOP reports.
- Other job-related responsibilities are required for a pharmacy technician.
