Location: Western Massachusetts
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 8-hour shifts; holiday and overtime multipliers available at 1.25x; weekend and holiday rotation required
Highlights:
- Provide expert lactation assessment, treatment, and consultation in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Lead interdisciplinary care planning for patients with advanced lactation support needs
- Work with a supportive care team dedicated to optimal maternal and infant outcomes
- Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred
- 8-hour non-billable orientation provided
- Assignment duration: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- Active Massachusetts professional license (RN, OT, PT, SLP, or Pharmacist) required
- International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification required – must be current and in hand
- Minimum 1 year experience as an IBCLC
- Minimum 2,500 hours of breastfeeding consultant experience required
- Inpatient lactation program experience required
- Outpatient prenatal and postpartum lactation education, consultation, or teaching experience required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Reliable vehicle for commuting required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from facility location
