Join The Doe Fund on our mission to break the cycles of homelessness, addiction, and recidivism. Our flagship Ready, Willing & Able (RWA) program provides paid work experience, transitional housing, occupational training, and comprehensive supportive services to individuals experiencing homelessness. The Doe Fund is also one of New York City’s largest nonprofit developers of permanent affordable and supportive housing, with more than 2,000 units in operation or pre-development. The Doe Fund has an annual operating budget of $80 million and a full-time staff of nearly 500, a significant portion of whom are graduates of our programs.
The Doe Fund is seeking a creative, experienced, and flexible Digital Marketing Manager to oversee the organization's creative and digital marketing efforts. The position will lead efforts to expand the Doe Fund's reach on digital platforms and help to drive and implement its content strategy. The ideal candidate will be an experienced project manager who is capable of communicating fluently with multiple audiences and through multiple channels, including donors, prospective donors, community members, and the press.
This is a creative and rewarding role for a self-starter with a broad skill set that spans creative asset development, digital marketing, social media, and campaign implementation strategy. The position offers considerate creative freedom, strategic influence, and the opporutnity to work closely with a range of stakeholders, from executive leadership to the indicviduals and families served by the organization - all in service of The Doe Fund's mission and from a position of advocacy around poverty, homeslessness, incarceration, and reentry.
The position reports to The Doe Fund's Vice President of Communications.

Key Responsibilities:
- DIGITAL MARKETING: In concert with the Vice President of Communications, develop and implement strategies to increase the organization's brand awareness and reach across digital marketing channels, including social media, web, and email. Develop systems to track, analyze, and report on growth metrics.
- CREATIVE ASSET DEVELOPMENT: Liaise with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify, create, and manage photo, video, and other creative assets to help communicate the organization's brand and impact for press opportunities, marketing collateral, and donor communications. Capture photography and produce editorial for live events. Pitch creative concepts for organization-wide initiatives and campaigns.
- WEB CONTENT MANAGEMENT: Serve as the gatekeeper of the Doe Fund's website, updating copy and visuals as needed and performing quarterly content audits to ensure all information is up to date. Help to ensure the organization's web presence is aligned with best practices and industry standards.
- SOCIAL MEDIA: Develop overall social media strategy to drive engagement and increase followers, while building and amplifying a consistent brand and voice. In concert with the Communications department, maintain a weekly posting schedule across multiple platforms.
- CROSS-TEAM COLLABORATION: Work collaboratively with internal teams (Development, Program, Real Estate, etc) to shape and execute strategic campaigns - developing not just assets but messaging, scripts, materials, and planning support goals and track results.
- VENDOR RELATIONS: Provide direction and act as a point for select contractors and agencies, including graphic designers, video production companies, media buyers, photographers, and print shops.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2+ years in brand management, digital production, or comparable experience in a non-profit or agency setting
- Strong project management experience
- Exceptional writing skills
- Expert command of WordPress, knowledge of HTML/CSS a plus
- Comfort with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Video editing experience
- Experience managing and corresponding with freelance creatives
- Experience managing print vendors to produce marketing collateral
- Passion for the organization's mission to end the cycles of poverty, homelessness, and incarceration
