Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Critical Care (Night Shift)

Location: Utica, NY, 13502Duration: 13 week contractShift: 12-hr NightsGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekWeekly Pay Rate: $2,232–$2,448; (Negotiable based on experience)Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Critical Care Unit
• Perform assessments, develop individualized care plans, and deliver interventions
• Monitor patients for changes in condition, interpret hemodynamic and telemetry data, and act rapidly in emergencies
• Administer medications, titrate critical drips, and manage advanced equipment
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other team members
• Educate patients and families on procedures, treatments, and recovery
• Document care in the EMR accurately and promptly

Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience required. Fresh heart experience is Required.
• EMR Experience: EPIC required.
• Licensure: Active New York RN license.
• Certifications (All Required):
  • Current AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and communication skills.
