Key Responsibilities

Analyze customer requests and determine the most effective solutions.

Prepare detailed cost estimates, proposal drawings, concept sketches, and quotations.

Collaborate with proposal managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to develop winning strategies.

Support the sales team by explaining proposals and assisting with customer presentations.

Coordinate with outside vendors to ensure equipment and customer specifications are met.

Maintain accurate proposal documentation and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).

3+ years of experience in machine design (metal cutting preferred).

Strong background in cost estimating and proposal development.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong analytical and design skills, with a practical understanding of manufacturing methods.
