Essential Job Functions
- Perform all duties in alignment with the organization's 8 Core Values.
- Establish and uphold standards for patient experience, rehabilitation services, and professional communication-both within the clinic and with external partners.
- Foster a positive clinic culture through strong leadership and clear communication of shared beliefs and values.
- Ensure all clinical documentation is completed and maintained in compliance with company policy and procedures.
- Conduct regular concurrent and retrospective chart audits; lead staff development sessions focusing on patient case studies and clinical excellence.
- Manage clinic expenses related to supplies, equipment, and staffing in consultation with the owner liaison.
- Develop strategic goals and annual business plans for the clinic in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy services and maintain a clinical schedule that meets productivity standards.
- Participate in the evaluation, planning, and implementation of new and existing services.
- Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring effective communication with ownership and internal departments.
- Lead the recruitment, training, and development of clinical staff. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and collaborate with HR as needed.
- Support business development and relationship-building with physicians, case managers, and other referral sources. Develop and execute quarterly outreach plans.
- Contribute to company marketing and content efforts by submitting two blogs, articles, or patient stories per year.
- Maintain balanced therapist caseloads and optimize clinic scheduling for efficiency.
Required Experience
- Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills with employees, patients, and external partners.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to influence and lead change within an organization.
- Ability to work independently and make sound, timely decisions.
- Skilled in resolving customer or regulatory inquiries and maintaining professional composure.
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving ability.
- Solid understanding of business operations within a physical therapy setting.
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
Qualifications
- Doctorate or Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Missouri State PT License in good standing.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical physical therapy experience.
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
