Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An immediate opening is available for two full-time Special Education Teachers to provide leave coverage at an elementary school in Cambridge, MA. These contract positions run from January through April and require a valid Moderate or higher Special Education teaching license for Massachusetts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students with moderate to intensive learning needs.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's strengths and challenges.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student success.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to meet educational goals.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Possess a current Moderate or higher Special Education teaching license for Massachusetts.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students with moderate to intensive special education needs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to support a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to adapt instruction to diverse learning styles and needs.
