Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical supply chain professional to support global inventory and supply planning. This role is responsible for balancing supply and demand, managing inventory levels, and mitigating shortages across a global supplier network. The position serves as a key liaison between internal teams and external vendors, ensuring accurate forecasting, timely purchase order execution, and alignment with capacity constraints. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven insights to protect business performance, identify risks, and drive operational efficiency, while demonstrating strong communication skills, the ability to manage large datasets, and a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving with minimal oversight.
Required Experience & Skills
- Responsible for global inventory planning, supply planning and managing capacity constraints.
- Work with our Southeast Asia based team and suppliers to adapt to changing demand by pulling in, pushing out, re-routing, transferring, etc. to minimize stock outs, excess inventory and scrap costs across the supply chain.
-Manage the shortage sku mitigation strategies weekly
-Ability to maintain and digest large datasets ensuring accuracy in decision making
- Protect the financial performance of the business by identifying potential supply chain issues.
- Direct communication with vendors in Southeast Asia, including communication of production forecasts for products produced at assigned vendors, weekly/monthly PO placements.
- Prepare monthly MBR data measuring overseas vendors against designated KPI's, participate in and occasionally lead the monthly discussions.
- Help optimize Global Inventory levels (Excess, In Line, and EOL) per the direction of the planning team and Ops leadership.
- Help support launching new product categories based on internal Phase Gate Process.
- Audit Open Order accuracy, as well as WIP accuracy from suppliers.
- Place display/fixture PO's as needed.
-Manage appropriate approvals
- Communicate past due PO updates weekly.
- Execute inter and intra company transfers.
Education and Qualifications
- Preference that candidate have a bachelor's degree, in Engineering, Mathematics or Supply Chain discipline
- Ability to manage detailed project plans
- Be comfortable working 'hands-on' in a fast growing, high-pressure environment
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without day to day management
- Comfortable with ongoing maintenance of large datasets
- Ability to travel internationally
- Professionalism fitting with the unique office culture
- Excellent proactive communication skills, both written and interpersonal
- Strong sense of operational organization
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP a plus
