Job Title: Behavior Technician (Children's Autism Treatment Technician – I)
Scheduling Requirement: Our scheduling structure is based on mirrored availability to ensure consistency for our clients. This means:

Candidates must be available for the same shifts on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (8:00-11:30 AM, 11:30 AM-3:00 PM, or 3:00-6:00 PM) and/or Tuesday and Thursday.
- For example, a schedule may include working with one client on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00-11:30 AM and a second client on Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30 AM-3:00 PM.
Status: Part-Time | A minimum commitment of 12 hours per week is required, with a maximum of 29 hours.
Location: Based on employee's home location (Clients are located throughout the general Madison area. We aim to assign clients on the same side of town as the employee's residence, such as West, East, North, or South Madison.)
Pay: $17-19 per hour depending on experience

Your Role: As a Behavior Technician (Children’s Autism Treatment Technician I), you'll play a vital role in providing one-on-one behavioral intervention treatment to children in their homes. Utilizing play-based, relationship-centric, and naturalistic approaches, you'll work towards goals such as skill acquisition, behavior replacement, and behavior reduction. Additionally, you'll collaborate weekly with a supportive team to maintain individualized goals and ensure the best outcomes for each child.

Requirements:

Minimum age of 18

High School Diploma or Equivalent
-
Reliable, insured transportation with a valid Driver’s License
-
Ability to assist with child mobility and adopt a variety of physical postures, including kneeling, bending, and sitting on the floor for extended periods

Basic computer proficiency for data collection

Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for working with children
-
Ability to consistently adhere to schedules with high attendance and punctuality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:

Client sessions with 3-5 clients per week, 2-3 times per week, 2.5 to 3 hours per session

Deliver 1:1, play-oriented, goal-driven treatment to children aged 18 months to 5 years

Detailed session documentation via provided hardware and software

Effective communication with peers, families, and supervisors for collaborative treatment
