Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid DORA RN license required prior to application
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory
- Experience in orthopedic, spine, robotic (Da Vinci), Mako robotic-assisted surgery, Globus, and laparoscopic procedures preferred
- Familiarity with Stryker surgical equipment and Meditech EMR system is advantageous
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to foster a collaborative work environment
Work Location and Environment:Based at a modern hospital in Centennial, CO, the Operating Room unit comprises four ORs and one Endoscopy suite staffed by a dedicated team of full-time and per diem nurses and surgical technologists. The unit operates during day shifts, utilizing cutting-edge surgical technology, making it an excellent setting for professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure patient safety and efficient procedures
- Maintain sterile techniques and proper equipment handling, including Stryker systems
- Support preoperative and postoperative patient care activities
- Adhere to unit policies, contributing to continuous improvement and a positive team culture
Schedule:
- Day Shift: 7 AM to 5 PM
