Imaging X-Ray Tech / Radiologic Technologist
Location: Hilo, HI
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: Varied Shifts
Hours: To Be Discussed
We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist for a travel assignment in an acute care hospital setting in Hawaii. The ideal candidate will have strong independent radiography experience and proficiency operating multiple imaging systems in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures independently
• Operate DR fixed equipment, portable DR systems, fluoroscopy equipment, and C-arms
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and image quality
• Maintain radiation safety standards and protocols
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and workflow management
• Support physicians and clinical staff during imaging procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation and holiday coverage as required
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and professionalism during procedures
Requirements:
• Minimum two (2) years of independent Radiologic Technologist experience required
• Active Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist License required by assignment start date
• Current ARRT Certification required
• Current BLS Certification required
• Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols required
• Must possess a dosimetry badge
Preferred:
• EPIC EMR experience
• Philips DR systems experience
• Philips Fluoro equipment experience
• Philips C-arms experience
• OEC C-arms experience
• Konica DR systems experience
