JOB SUMMARY:The Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role involves working closely with customers and internal teams to provide timely and accurate support in a fast-paced environment while managing order entry, tracking, and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer customer calls promptly and efficiently
- Process customer orders via phone, fax, and EDI systems
- Enter and manage standing orders and special pricing agreements for assigned regions
- Track orders and provide delivery information to customers
- Support field sales and service teams with inquiries and order placement
- Provide proof of delivery and shipment details as needed
- Maintain high levels of accuracy in order processing and documentation
- Develop knowledge of products and special projects as required
- Resolve customer issues and inquiries effectively
Required Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience with order entry, order tracking, and problem resolution
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams and support field staff
