Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This itinerant opportunity allows you to engage with diverse student populations and collaborate with multiple teams across various school sites, all while making a difference in the lives of students.
In this onsite-only position, you will work full-time for the duration of the school year, providing sign language interpretation services in classroom settings, during school events, and in other educational activities. Your strong interpreting skills will help ensure access to meaningful learning opportunities for all assigned students.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter
- EIPA score of 3.5 or higher (required)
- Experience working in both special education and general education preferred
- Ability to adapt to a flexible, itinerant role spanning multiple sites
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver sign language interpretation services for students and staff within a variety of academic and extracurricular contexts
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other school personnel to support student learning and participation
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Travel between school sites as needed, adapting to different classroom environments
