Step into a rewarding onsite role for the 2026-2027 school year as a Physical Therapist supporting K-12 students across a dynamic district. This full-time opportunity, located in the Tacoma, WA area, offers meaningful work with diverse caseloads of 25-30 students and the chance to impact young lives every day. Beginning September 9, 2026, and running through June 16, 2027, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to help students achieve their fullest physical potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current or eligible Washington State Physical Therapy (PT) license
  • Willingness to complete OSPI fingerprinting if not already in place
  • Pediatric experience (preferred), especially within K-12 educational environments
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions to a range of physical abilities and age groups
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services onsite to students across a district, from kindergarten through high school
  • Assess, develop, and track individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student participation in school settings
  • Manage a district-wide caseload efficiently, traveling between assigned school sites as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
