Accurate Staging is looking for a self starting Drafters/Designers in the LA area. We design and fabricate stages, structures & sets used in the concert & live entertainment industry. We are currently offering entry level positions (based on skill level) as well as a pay to learn position equivalent to a paid internship with the prospect of becoming a full time member of our drafting team.


Responsibilities:

  • This is an entry level position for CAD Designer who will read and interpret conceptual designs, drawings, blueprints, engineering orders, sketches, and graphs to layout and generate site plans, construction & detail drawings.
  • Drafter will be responsible in communicating with small teams to ensure all aspects of the projects are done in a timely manner.
  • On occasions, Drafter will have to travel to job sites for surveys/meetings and or on-site observation of structures.
  • Ability to perform regular office duties. Answering phones calls, refilling printer supplies and other minor tasks that help the office run smoothly.
  • (Pay is based on skill level with adjustments after a 3 month intermediate starting period)


Qualifications:

  • Full-time Drafter with little to no knowledge or experience required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Able to work overtime and weekends as required on short notice. - uncommon
  • Self motivator with the ability to communicate clearly with others to discuss and solve problems relating to materials and equipment.
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English.
  • Adept at basic math and both imperial/metric systems. (not required but a +)
  • Fluent Spanish speaker. (not required but a +)
  • Associates Degree in Drafting. (not required but a +)
