Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A certified Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC credentials is needed for the 2026-2027 school year in a K-12 public school located in Neah Bay, WA. This contract position runs approximately from September 1, 2026, to June 15, 2027. The role involves working primarily with early childhood through first-grade students, as well as several older, high-needs individuals.
Work Schedule and Environment:
- Hours are from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with additional time for evaluations and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as required.
- Services are delivered across one school campus consisting of three buildings: elementary, middle, and high school, with most therapy sessions conducted at the elementary school.
Caseload Details:
- Initial caseload starts at around 36 students and typically grows to between 42 and 44 by year-end.
- Students served range from mild to moderate speech and language needs, including several with more severe challenges.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required.
- Experience working with Early Childhood and K-12 populations highly preferred.
- Ability to conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and provide direct therapy services.
- Participate in evaluation and IEP meetings to support student progress.
- Document and maintain records in compliance with school and district policies.
