Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A certified Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC credentials is needed for the 2026-2027 school year in a K-12 public school located in Neah Bay, WA. This contract position runs approximately from September 1, 2026, to June 15, 2027. The role involves working primarily with early childhood through first-grade students, as well as several older, high-needs individuals.

Work Schedule and Environment:

Hours are from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with additional time for evaluations and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as required.
Services are delivered across one school campus consisting of three buildings: elementary, middle, and high school, with most therapy sessions conducted at the elementary school.

Caseload Details:

Initial caseload starts at around 36 students and typically grows to between 42 and 44 by year-end.
Students served range from mild to moderate speech and language needs, including several with more severe challenges.

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required.
Experience working with Early Childhood and K-12 populations highly preferred.
Ability to conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language assessments and provide direct therapy services.
Participate in evaluation and IEP meetings to support student progress.
Document and maintain records in compliance with school and district policies.
