Responsibilities:
Develop and administer treatment plans including surgical procedures, wound care, and orthotic prescriptions
Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet and ankles to diagnose conditions
Perform surgical procedures as necessary, including suturing and other interventions
Examining patients’ legs and feet to diagnose diseases
Treating foot and leg injuries such as fractures, corn and calluses
Prescribing medications, orthotics, and other treatments as needed.
Educating patients on proper foot care and injury prevention.
Managing chronic conditions, such as diabetes-related foot problems.
Managing post-operative care and follow-up.
Managing Nursing homes/assistant living.

Duties
Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet and ankles to diagnose conditions.
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Perform surgical procedures as necessary, including but not limited to corrective surgeries for deformities or injuries.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in areas such as pediatric cardiology and emergency medicine to provide holistic care.
Participate in discharge planning for patients requiring follow-up care.
Educate patients on foot health, preventive measures, and rehabilitation exercises.
Stay current with advancements in podiatric medicine, including psychopharmacology and ventilate management techniques.
Work in a Level I Trauma Center environment when necessary, providing urgent care for foot-related injuries.
Qualifications
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state license to practice podiatry.
Experience in pediatric critical intensive care is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
Ability to operate medical equipment relevant to podiatric practices.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest practices in otolaryngology and related fields.
