Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring NC or compact licensure and strong critical care or emergency experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Interventional Radiology department of a large teaching hospital with Level 1 trauma designation
- Responsible for supporting inpatient, outpatient, and trauma patients across all radiology areas including CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, GIGU, and X-Ray
- Handles an average of 40-55 procedure cases per day
- Works weekday 10-hour day shifts starting at 7:30am
- Weekend, holiday, and on-call shift coverage provided as needed to support the department
- No floating required
- Uses EPIC Radiant EMR system
- Responsible for nurse sedation cases and collaborating closely with radiologists and radiology technicians
- Works with a range of patient types including acute, trauma, inpatient, and outpatient populations
- Team-oriented department with a supportive and positive atmosphere
- Hospital-issued scrubs provided and free employee parking available
- Department provides a two-day orientation in addition to general hospital onboarding
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Time off requires manager approval

- Active NC or compact RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Minimum 12 months recent experience in Interventional Radiology, critical care, or emergency settings
- Proficiency in moderate sedation and acute, emergent patient care skills
- Experience in a hospital-based radiology or procedural care environment preferred
