We are seeking a Nurse Practitioners to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. (3 to 4 months with possibility of extension)

Responsibilities:

The contractor shall be responsible for, but is not limited to:

• Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services for the inmate population.
• Conduct medical histories, examine patients, and order and interpret laboratory tests, x-ray and other diagnostic testing.
• Diagnosis and treat patients in an efficient, timely, and professional manner, provide treatment plans and prescribe medications utilizing the Bureau of Prisons formulary.
• Clinically manage injuries by suturing, splinting, and immobilizing

Qualifications:

• APRN License in State of California (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
• 2 years of experience
• BLS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
