Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a full-semester contract position at a K-12 public school located in Oakland, California. This on-site role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with educators and therapists to positively impact students communication development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students exhibiting communication disorders
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, and actively participate in IEP meetings
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents to address student communication needs across grade levels PreK12
  • Manage caseload assignments aligned with experience and district requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current California SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred
  • Experience in school-based settings is advantageous
