Job DescriptionGeneral Laborer Temp to hire in Tiltonsville Ohio!
A General Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of physical tasks to support daily operations in industrial, construction, warehouse, or manufacturing environments. This role involves assisting with site preparation, material handling, equipment operation, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform manual labor tasks including lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials
Assist skilled tradespeople and supervisors with various job site duties
Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and OSHA guidelines
Support production, assembly, or construction processes as needed
Inspect materials and equipment for defects or safety concerns
Work collaboratively with team members to meet deadlines and productivity goals
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous general labor, construction, or warehouse experience is a plus
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Basic knowledge of tools and equipment is beneficial
Work Environment:
May include indoor and outdoor settings depending on the job site
Exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, and dust
Requires standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion throughout the shift
Work Schedule:
M-F 7am-3pm with some overtime occasionally
Pay:
-$16 an hour
