This Inside Sales Representative position offers a competitive salary to match industry experience and a full benefit package. This position is also eligible for American Bolts profit sharing bonus structure!
AS AN INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE, YOU WILL TOUCH 5 MAIN AREAS
- Customer Support & Communication
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and online.
- Provide timely, courteous responses in a professional manner.
- Provide product support and recommend solutions based on fastener knowledge
- Order Management
- Enter and manage customer orders in the ERP system with accuracy.
- Proactively keeps customers informed about order status, delays, and updates
- Builds strong, trust-based relationships through responsiveness and follow-through
- Issue Management
- Resolve issues related to orders, returns, and product availability
- Coordinate returns and problem resolution with warehouse and sales teams.
- CRM & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and in the CRM and ensure follow-up on open items
- Track all account activity including communications and opportunities.
- Product & Process Knowledge
- Stay current on company products, services, and policies.
- Provide basic e-commerce support and assist customers with online ordering.
- Follow company processes and take ownership where required.

You understand fastener products and have in-depth knowledge of customer applications of fasteners. You are a team player with a positive, customer-first mindset. You have excellent customer service and communication skills. You have strong phone contact handling skills. You have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to a changing environment. You have the ability to prioritize and handle a fast-paced workload. You have strong time management and organizational skills. You pay high attention to details and accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Fastener industry experience, preferably 3+ years
- High school diploma or equivalent
WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time position will train in the office for at least 60 days. There will be an opportunity for a hybrid, work-from-home schedule after fully trained - 2 days/week work from home, 3 days/week in the office. Hours are Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm.
