Job DescriptionFull-Time or Part-Time Dental Hygienist Opportunity – Join Our Friendly and Dedicated Team in Chantilly!

Location: Our dental practice in Chantilly, VA

Work Schedule:

  • Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

(Please arrive 15 minutes early for a team meeting)

We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to become part of our friendly, hardworking, and results-driven team.

This position is primarily full-time, but we are also considering part-time applicants (minimum of 3 days per week). Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid dental hygienist license in Virginia and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required)
  • Strong understanding of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

  • Both new graduates and experienced hygienists are welcome to apply!
  • Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • A commitment to continuous learning and developing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventive care for overall dental health
  • Clinical requirements as specified by the office

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential duties as required by the office/doctor with or without reasonable accommodation. Accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to fulfill essential job functions.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
  • Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 45 pounds occasionally
  • Availability for periodic virtual or in-person training sessions throughout the year
  • To ensure a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is mandatory for all new hires in dental office roles. This standard requirement must be completed before starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, with necessary guidance provided. This requirement does not apply in the states of FL & TN.
