- Develop a complete project plan including resources, costs, benefits, and schedule. Assume full responsibility for all aspects of the project to ensure it meets goals and schedule.
- Communicate project status to partners appropriately and follow up to ensure project results are sustained.
- Provide leadership to manufacturing engineering technicians through training, professional development, and personal growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with operators, team leaders, and value stream planners to optimize process center layouts and designs incorporating material flow and line balancing.
- Lead and facilitate kaizen activities using lean tools and interpersonal skills, encouraging multi-functional groups to meet common goals.
- Contribute to the development of the annual business unit plan based on value stream maps, metric deployment, and management system assessment.
- Drive waste reduction while improving employee safety. Lead and support capital expenditure requests and implementations using cost justification and business management principles.
