Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled Registered Nurse with PCU experience is needed for a challenging role supporting high-acuity patients on night shift. This position requires dedication to providing exceptional step-down care in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required
- Preferred experience: management of high-acuity drips, arterial lines, and expertise with BiPAP/Airvo devices
- Able to float to lesser acuity units as needed
- Strong critical thinking and patient monitoring skills
- Nicotine-free commitment (facility policy)
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Major holiday coverage with manager flexibility for time off
- Orientation Mon-Fri, 8 AM 5 PM (upcoming dates available)

Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to step-down patients requiring close monitoring
- Implement and manage treatment plans and medication administration, including drip infusions and other high-acuity interventions
- Continuously assess patient status, recognize changes, and report accordingly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Assist in unit staffing flexibility by floating to other care areas when needed
