Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated Staffing Specialist to join our Mesa branch team. This role is responsible for recruiting, screening, and placing qualified temporary and long-term workers while providing excellent customer service to both clients and job seekers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about connecting people with meaningful work opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of light industrial and skilled labor positions
- Match qualified workers to client job orders based on skills, experience, and availability
- Conduct in-person candidate check-ins and dispatch workers daily
- Maintain accurate candidate records in company database and applicant tracking systems
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive experience from application to placement
- Assist with job postings across multiple channels (job boards, social media, community outreach)
- Coordinate drug screens, background checks, and other pre-employment requirements
- Provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotational basis to handle urgent staffing needs
- Support the Branch Manager with client communication, order fulfillment, and daily operations
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws, company policies, and safety standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
- 1-2 years of experience in staffing, recruiting, or customer service (staffing agency experience a plus)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn applicant tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends
