We are seeking a Project Manager & Closing Coordinator for our Washington D.C office.
The Project Manager & Closing Coordinator works directly with the firms attorneys throughout the lifecycle of a financing to facilitate execution of transactions and successful closings. Such work includes assisting with or conducting project diligence, developing deal timelines and internal task-tracking mechanisms, reviewing and drafting documents and/or closing certificates, preparing necessary government filings and reports, managing an electronic closing platform and assembling project closing records. Other responsibilities include administrative assistance, non-deal project coordination and scheduling, assistance with research, drafting proposals to prospective clients, preparing billing invoices, coordinating meetings and implementing firm-wide policies and objectives locally.
Qualifications:
- Three or more years of project management, transactional paraprofessional or title company closer experience (preferably with experience in real estate, financial transactions, healthcare and/or general corporate work).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal, written (grammar, spelling, format) and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, take ownership of work, anticipate next steps and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both collaboratively (with all levels of the firm) and independently, as needed.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
This is an in-office position with occasional work-from-home flexibility if pre-arranged with supervising attorneys.
