We are looking for an efficient and highly trained or trainable APP who either wants to start or further their career in one of Long Islands most highly regarded pain management practices. Prior experience in pain management or orthopedic settings is a plus. As a part of the practice you will work alongside Physicians, NPs, PAs, Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, Psychologists, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers. Your experience with our practice will include managing patient medication, performing injections such as trigger point injections, Botox, and joint injections, as well as diagnosing patients and creating treatment plans which include minimally invasive procedures performed by our Physicians. We offer complete training on high-end ultrasound machines, and CME money to continue to grow and craft your skillset.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

Qualifications:

Ability to build rapport with patients
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership qualities

The position includes health insurance, paid holidays, PTO, bonuses, and matched 401k and CME money. This position requires travel to multiple locations predominantly in Nassau County.
